Welcome to Year 2

A huge welcome to all our our children and families. Please read this page to keep updated on all our learning in Year 2. The children will really enjoy all our topics this year, we are going to be asking 'Wher are we going and Who will we meet. The children will learn about significant individuals and places around the world.

The staff working in Y2A this year are Mrs Hussain (Monday-Wednesday), Mr Hyde (Wednesday-Friday) supported by Mrs Turner. The staff in Y2B this year are Mrs Bamford supported by Mrs Raza.  Mrs Waheed works across both classes suporting Reading.

P.E.
Year 2a will have P.E. with Mr Hyde on a Tuesday. Year 2B will have P.E on Wednesday with Miss Heyes. Children must come to school wearing full P.E. Kit. Earrings must be removed, hair tied back and your child will need a water bottle and coat. 

Arbor

We use Arbor to keep parents up to date with any key information and to show parents what we have been doing in Year 2. It is essential that all parents are signed up to Arbor in order to keep up to date with information from the classroom.
